- A set of programs which provide for the following: (a) The generation of application and installation-oriented system configurations using a suitable system generation macro language and a library of macro definitions. (b) An assembler and link editor to assemble user-written message handling procedures, new device drivers, and application-dependent modules used in generating new system configuration. (c) A loader to allow the transfer (down-line loading) of diagnostic test routines and previously generated operating software on request from the host system or communications processor.
